Your Wild Itinerary:

 

Day 1: Arrival

​

  • Arrive at Bhopal Airport excited about the next few days. Our services start here and will conclude once we drop you off at the end of this journey.

  • Explore the palaeolithic, mesolithic and stone age at the Bhimbetka rock shelters

  • Check into your luxury lodge by noon. Settle in, and prepare for an interesting safari.

  • Head for a drive at dusk in the buffer area to spot an interesting variety of birds

  • Keep your eye out for nocturnal animals like the rusty-spotted cats, owls, civets, nightjars, Indian thick-knees, bears and leopards

  • Switch off the engine and experience the peace of the jungle under starlight

  • Return to your lodge for dinner and spend the night at the lodge.

Day 2: Into the wild

​

  • Walk into the core zone of a tiger reserve with an experienced guide

  • The forest is also home to nilgais, deer, giant squirrels, wild dogs and more. How many will you spot? 

  • Return to the lodge for breakfast. 

  • Spend some time walking through the neighbouring villages interacting with the women there and learning about their lives

  • Head out into the buffer area for an afternoon safari. Try and spot the Gaur, Sambar, Spotted Deer, Indian Giant Squirrel, Sloth Bear, Leopard, Dhole, Chousingha, etc.

  • But most importantly, take the time to notice as much as you can about the jungle

  • Return to your luxury lodge for the night. Rest.

Day 3: Safaris and walks

​

  • Head out for an early morning safari in the core area

  • Explore the depths of a fantastic jungle with your experienced guide

  • Stop at a scenic spot for a quick breakfast of sandwiches, muffins, and coffee or tea before resuming the safari

  • Head back to the lodge for lunch and siesta or treat yourself at the spa (spa not included in the package)

  • Head for a drive at dusk in the buffer area to spot an interesting variety of birds

  • Keep your eye out for nocturnal animals like the rusty-spotted cats, owls, civets, nightjars, Indian thick-knees, bears and leopards

  • Drive back to your luxury lodge for a farewell dinner.

Day 4: Canoe Safari and Village Lunch

​

  • Enjoy a serene canoe safari on the calm Denwa river

  • Spot crocodile and other wild animals that come to the edge of the river for a drink

  • Engage with the local women in an interactive class where you learn to cook using traditional methods

  • Feast on delicious dal baati and vegetables

  • Check out and head to the airport.
