Travel during the COVID-19 Pandemic
In view of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, our endeavour remains to ensure that both you, the traveller, and our experience partners stay safe and healthy, and are still able to enjoy Mother Nature's bounty. To this end, we have modified our Booking Terms & Conditions as follows:
This document is an addendum to the "Booking & Cancellation Policy" agreement document on this website, found here, and shall be treated as part of that agreement between You and Us.
As such, the current document shall stay valid until such time as the World Health Organisation declares the COVID-19 pandemic over or restrictions impacting travel (in particular states within India, or countries or advisories in place in Jokotta Discoveries’ countries of operation) are lifted, or a date otherwise specified by Us.
In view of the Covid-19 pandemic, we continue to follow the booking and cancellation policies of our experience partners/end suppliers. All completed transactions are valid for cancellation depending on the policy framework requested by the experience partners/end suppliers.
Travel in the times of COVID
We have opened bookings for a limited number of experiences with the COVID-19 pandemic still ongoing, in consultation with travel rules as set out by regional/national authorities, as well as our experience partners. We have worked hard with our experience partners to offer you flexibility in booking and cancellation in each experience that is available for booking. Regardless, we encourage you to purchase travel insurance to cover financial losses that may occur in case of cancellations that are beyond anyone's control.
Our booking terms and conditions, as always, are governed by those offered by our experience partners. You are therefore, strongly encouraged to go through and understand these before booking an experience with us. The booking and cancellation policies for each experience are available on the respective experience page on this website.
We will bear no responsibility for any loss, financial or otherwise that may occur as a result of booking an experience with inadequate understanding of the respective cancellation policy
In case you are unclear about any booking/cancellation policy or any other terms and conditions, we welcome you to write to us at email@example.com, and we will respond to all emails at the earliest.
Travel during the pandemic presents a certain degree of risk, and despite the best efforts of Jokotta and the experience partners, there is a possibility that you may contract COVID-19 either before, during or after the experience. As such, we can take no responsibility for any consequences anyone may face.
Travel during the pandemic also presents a certain degree of logistical risk including, but not limited to flights getting cancelled, regional rules for opening up locations for tourism changing, or any other unforseen circumstances due to which your experience may not start, or be completed, or go exactly as per the planned itinerary. In all such cases, the booking and cancellation policies mentioned for each experience will hold.
You are our valued guest, and we will, on a case by case basis, attempt to ensure minimal monetary loss for all parties concerned, but these efforts shall not constitute legal responsibility, and as such, we cannot be held liable for financial or other losses incurred due to cancellations in experiences.
